How Do I Open An Account with You?
Call us (800-666-7200) or click the email icon above and let us know a convenient time for you when we can visit briefly by phone. We always take your information over the phone personally. We have found it helpful in understanding your unique needs and discussing with you how we can best respond to those needs.
What is Your Screening Process for Carriers?
We obtain and verify the following information from a carrier:
Do You Have High Turnover of Carriers?
No, we do not. On average, our carriers have been with us for at least ten years. Additionally, of the 70,000+ carriers we have relationships with across the country, approximately 95% have carried loads for us. We make it our job to know our carriers and the quality they represent in terms of performance.
How Do You Retain Quality Carriers?
Our carriers have represented us for 10-25 years because we pay promptly and fairly. They also value our personal approach to business and the ethics we share in common. We view our carriers as a customer and treat them with the respect and courtesy they deserve. We are a better company because of their professionalism and dedication. Last, while we all work hard, we do so in a comfortable environment and we enjoy having fun with our carriers.

Thank you for your recommendation!

"We have been associated with Blue Star for many, many years. Their rates are competitive and they are always willing to and capable of providing equipment when we need it. They are a reliable company and I would recommend them." What is Your Internal Process for Shipping Orders You Receive?
We enter your order, access our carrier relationships to obtain cost-effective quotes on your load, match your needs to the most effective quote, dispatch your order, track the delivery of your order, and report the status of your order personally with you. We prefer the immediacy of phone contact, fax, and/or email at all points of the delivery process. We have found this process to be not only personal, but a communication preference of many customers. It's our job to communicate to you in the method that serves you best, and we do that well.
For those shippers who wish to access their delivery statuses on-line, our new systems will accommodate that approach as well. What Invoice Payment Methods Do You Accept?
We accept corporate check, credit cards, and wire transfers.
